Melanie Cusick-Jones writes Young Adult and Childrens fiction for readers who like adventure and tales with a twist. Writing across several genres Melanie's stories vary from one book to another, as different as the characters that inhabit them.
After graudating from The University of Sheffield with an English Literature Masters in 2003, Melanie has been writing fiction - time permitting - ever since.
Hope's Daughter was Melanie's debut novel, released in December 2011, the first book in the Ambrosia Sequence. The Rainbow Maker's Tale is the companion book to this, covering the same time period from another perspective, and was released in late 2013. At the moment Melanie is working on the final books in the series: Islanders, Outlanders and Equilibrium 7.
Melanie's childrens books centre around Faris, a young boy who can speak to horses and finds he has a special magic which may help save a lot more than himself... The first book in the series, Faris and Jack, is available for free download at all E-book retailers and the sequel Faris and the Monoceros was released in early 2018, look out for more coming soon...
When she's not writing, Melanie enjoys the wet weather of the north of England walking her dogs, or disappearing into a book for a few hours...no surprise there then.
